Unit 9. Images. Weeks 1st- 11th April

These two weeks we are going to learn about images and  photography.

First we are going to watch this video carefully and then, we are going to answer the questions from the teacher.

Then we are going to watch thise video to get some ideas of how to make a comic. For the following week ( week 11th April), bring 5 images to class, they can be from magazines newspapers, they can be colour or black and white.

How to Create a Paper Mosaic (November, 20th-27th and 22nd- 23rd)

Watch this video, please, and answer these questions:

1- What is a mosaic?

2-  What are the steps to create a mosaic made of paper?

Materials:

- A reference picture or drawing that you like, to draw

- Your drawing book.

- One pencil.

- Scissors.

- Glue.

- Scraps of coloured paper.

- A plastic bag to keep the papers.

Unit 3: Project 2:How to make a Halloween ghost

Materials: paper plate, card, feltips, string, glue, white rubbish bag, monster template.

You are going to cut out the template of the hands and eyes and glue them onto the paper plate, then you  tape a strap of white plastic from the rubbish big.

Halloween project: Mask

We are going to do a Halloween mask using a balloon. This is how we are going to do it. The materials used are: a balloon, newspaper strips of silk paper strips, glue, a roll of toilet paper and paint brushes and water colours.

Please for the week of the 8th to 12th October bring two used rolls of toilet paper. We are going to do a craft for Halloween. 😀
